A technical overview of grades, dimensions, and mechanical limits of stainless steel sheet rolls.
These chromium-nickel alloys provide corrosion resistance and ductility. Grade 304 is the baseline for food processing and architectural applications. Grade 316 introduces molybdenum (2-3%) to prevent pitting in chloride environments. Grade 321 is stabilized with titanium to resist intergranular corrosion under high temperatures (up to 800°C).
Duplex stainless steels possess a mixed microstructure of austenite and ferrite in a 50:50 ratio. This dual-phase structure provides double the yield strength of standard austenitic grades along with high resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC). Super Duplex 2507 (1.4462 equivalent) features high chromium and molybdenum for marine chemical environments.
We supply products with a range of finishes: 2B (cold rolled, annealed, and pickled), BA (Bright Annealed for a mirror-like finish), No. 4 (brushed directional finish), and Checker Plate (embossed anti-skid textures). Protection options include PE, Laser PE, and fiber film coatings to prevent surface defects during fabrication.

How OES Metal leverages smart manufacturing and geographical advantages to secure consistent quality.
OES Metal is located in the Wuxi Industrial Zone (Jiangsu Province), the largest stainless steel distribution center in China. This location connects our processing units directly with domestic steel mills (such as TISCO, BAOSTEEL, and YUSCO), ensuring a steady raw material supply even during periods of market volatility.
Our proximity to major deep-water ports, such as Shanghai and Ningbo, allows for streamlined container loading and bulk break shipping. This reduces overland transportation times and carbon footprints, helping us meet delivery schedules across the CIS, Gulf, Europe, and the Americas.
By implementing a Factory 4.0 management system, we integrate our inventory software directly with shipping carriers. This provides international buyers with transparent lead times, accurate weight certificates, and automated customs documentation.
Tailored metallurgical configurations designed for specific industrial operational stresses.
High temperatures and acidic compounds require reliable alloy chemistry. Our Duplex 1.4462 (2205) and Stabilized 321 rolls are used in heat exchangers, distillation columns, and flare stacks. They resist high-temperature oxidation and stress corrosion cracking (SCC) under cycling pressure conditions.
Chloride environments speed up localized pitting and crevice corrosion. Super Duplex 2507 sheets and ASTM A276 bars from our factory provide high mechanical strength and PREN (Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number) values above 40, helping extend the operational lifespan of offshore oil platforms and coastal water intake systems.
Hygiene standards require smooth, non-porous surfaces. Our Mirror 304/316 Slitting Coils and Bright Annealed (BA) tubes are processed to keep surface roughness (Ra) below defined thresholds. This prevents bacterial adhesion and simplifies clean-in-place (CIP) procedures.

We package rolls with moisture barriers and strong outer steel strapping. Sheets are packed on sturdy wooden pallets, using edge protectors and VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) plastic wrap to prevent moisture oxidation during long ocean voyages.
Every shipment is accompanied by a Material Test Certificate (MTC) per EN 10204 3.1. This certificate details chemical analysis (carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, chromium, nickel, molybdenum) and mechanical test data (yield, tensile, elongation, hardness).
We supply legal documentation for transit through various customs zones (CIS, EU, GCC, Americas). This includes EUR.1, certificates of origin, and compliance paperwork to help minimize clearing delays at import terminals.
Our long-term commitment to process refinement, green metallurgy, and higher-precision dimensions.
OES Metal is progressively moving toward lower-carbon production methods. We work closely with raw material suppliers who utilize scrap-metal recycling processes in electric arc furnaces (EAF). These furnaces operate on clean electricity, reducing the carbon footprint of our base rolls.
Additionally, we utilize closed-loop acid recycling systems within our picking lines. This helps recover chemicals and minimizes waste by-products, helping us align with international environmental directives.
Our engineering team continues to refine our processing capability for ultra-thin stainless steel foils. Our target roadmap includes producing cold-rolled strips down to 0.03mm thickness with high flatness tolerances, which are increasingly requested for hydrogen fuel cell plates and next-generation battery components.
